Shanna L. Howell, Ph.D. was recently named the Vice Principal of Student Support Services at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in South Easton, MA. Prior to this, she served as the Dean of the Bristol Community College New Bedford Campus and the Director of Student Success at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Shanna earned her Bachelor of Science in sociology at The University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga.; her Master of Science in adult learning and organizational performance from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and her Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership and policy studies, community college leadership program, from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
Shanna is a proud member of the United Way of Greater New Bedford Board, a trustee for the Turner Free Library in Randolph, and a member of the Diversity and Race Equity Advisory Council for the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton.
