Since launching in 2018, Women United has collaborated with our Women United leaders, community organizations, business owners, and volunteers to support women and children in Greater New Bedford. Through unique initiatives like Wash & Read, Bright by Text, and Baby Bundles, we connect directly to families. In October of 2023, Women United expanded its literacy work to include financial literacy for women. By investing in financial education, we are increasing financial stability and economic self-sufficiency through increased knowledge, skills and confidence around money management.
